How is everyones summer going, mine is ok.

I know there has been a lot of talk about CP3 and how Orlando should make a move for him. I also know that we have not changed at all, we all tell each other to shut the f**k up. I guess we should all be prepared to continue arguing with each other this season as well.

I have good news, I'm not sure if you people read this article yet. But GM Otis Smith currently believes that Vince Carter is going to improve in his second year with the Magic, therefore providing indication that at the current moment, Vince is not going anywhere. Here is the qoute.

“I think a year with our guys – regarding some of the guys we brought in last year – you look at our track record and understand that it takes a guy a year to get fully equipped with who he is and how he is coached,” Smith explained last week. “So I think Brandon (Bass) will have a better year and I think Vince will have a better year.”

i'm so relieved reading this article. Yeah I agree with what Otis said that it takes a year for a player to get fully equipped.
Remember the year VC get traded to Nets. He's playing good and the next year he get better and better.

I still think there's a possibility VC is moved, but it's becoming less likely.
But really, after the performance he had in the playoffs, I'm not expecting much out of him. Sure, he might be better adjusted to the team/coaching, but his style of play won't chance. And until that does (and until he puts forth the effort it takes to win a championship), it'll be same old story over and over again.

if Vince plays bad, he can be traded in the middle of the season

We need two things to be able to expect something from VC next season:
1) For him to always be motivated and give 100%, all the time.
2) A change in the style of play of the team. It's just not logical when you don't need your N1 offensive player as much as you should, and just make him be another role player. Yes, Dwight is the leader of the team, but VC is by far the N1 offensive player on the team.

That's not really a good example. He was great for the Nets right away and the Nets made the playoffs.

Yes but from the team perspective, Nets were way better the next season becoz obviously the team chemistry was increasing more... that's why I believe Magic will be more better next season... woohoo GO MAGIC GO VC!!!
